Here's an image of a Nayland Blake work that caught my eye. This piece, from his website stands out for me in the same way the pieces at Paule Anglim did. I think what is effective for me at this time in my life is the stunning realization that I could have made this piece right now, with the resources I have. I don't have to wait for larger studio space or expensive materials. I am inspired with the possibility of creativity. This has always been for me one of the virtues and ultimate purposes for art: to embolden others into creativity.
